A little more info
Our mother, Renee, was the most devoted and loving soul who ever graced this planet. She was playful, fun-loving, and had an uncanny ability to put a smile on her face, no matter how difficult her days were, especially during her five-year battle with Ovarian Cancer.
Renee taught everyone around her to love unconditionally and to choose empathy, kindness, and honesty above all else. She was the hardest worker we've ever known, willing to persevere through every obstacle life put in her path. She was a constant source of support—there for our highest highs and our lowest lows.
She is dearly missed by her husband, Jim, her children Jessica, Ashley, and Brian, her twin sister Jeannette, and her beloved grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan, and Sloane.
To honor her incredible legacy, we created the Play4Renee fundraiser. This year, we are proud to partner with Tina's Wish, an incredible nonprofit dedicated to funding scientific research for the early detection of ovarian cancer.
Our mom loved challenging our dad to see who could get the most steps each day. In that spirit, we are launching the Play4Renee Challenge this October, inviting you to take another step in her honor. Whether you walk, run, or simply move, every step you take helps us continue the fight she so bravely faced.
Join us in celebrating Renee’s life and the lasting impact she had on us all. Together, we can take a step forward in hope and make a difference.
